Secure yourself from KEYLOGGER

Everybody hates keyloggers for the obvious reason, they log everything that you type including, but not limited to, you passwords, bank account numbers etc. This simple trick, that I'm going to unveil in the following text, was sent to me by one of my friends.
What is keylogger ?

A keylogger is a hardware device or a software program that records the real time activity of a computer user including the keyboard keys they press.
Keyloggers are used in IT organizations to troubleshoot technical problems with computers and business networks. Keyloggers can also be used by a family (or business) to monitor the network usage of people without their direct knowledge. Finally, malicious individuals may use keyloggers on public computers to steal passwords or credit card information.

Keylogger software is freely available on the Internet. These keyloggers allow not only keyboard keystrokes to be captured but also are often capable of collecting screen captures from the computer. Normal keylogging programs store their data on the local hard drive, but some are programmed to automatically transmit data over the network to a remote computer or Web server.

Detecting the presence of a keylogger on a computer can be difficult. So-called anti-keylogging programs have been developed to thwart keylogging systems, and these are often effective when used properly.

HOW TO FOOL A KEYLOGGER
Suppose your passsword is ANTIVIRUS, then don't type ANTIVIRUS while logging in. Type your password in a scrambled manner instead. Like first type VIR, then move the cursor to beginning and type TI then move the cursor to end and type US and finally move the cursor back to beginning and type AN. This way, key logger would assume that you typed VIRTIUSAN but you've actually typed ANTIVIRUS on the login form. It's pretty smart and easy way of fooling a key logger. Isn't it ?
But this is certainly not the best way of dealing with keyloggers because the method is flawed when viewed from the a programmer's point of view.
To be more secure, use up-to-date antivirus programs, scan your computer on a regular basis and avoid direct entry of important passwords, use a Onscreenkeyboard instead.
